The Cabinet which met here today under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed ordered following transfers and postings in the Police Department.Mr Dilbagh Singh, Managing Director, J&K Police Housing Corporation has been transferred and posted as Director, Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur vice Mr Rajesh Kumar. The post of Director, SKPA, Udhampur has been declared equivalent in rank and status to that of ADGP in terms of Rule 11(1) of IPS (Pay) Rules, 2007 till held by the officer.Mr. Arun Kumar Choudhary, IGP Headquarters, PHQ has been transferred and posted as MD J&K Police Housing Corporation in the rank and grade of IGP vice Mr. Dilbagh Singh.Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Director, Sher-e-Kashmir Police Academy, Udhampur has been transferred and posted as IGP, Headquarters, PHQ vice Mr. Arun Kumar Choudhary.Mr J P Singh, IGP Traffic, J&K has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Civil Military Liaison in the Home Department against an available vacancy.Mr. Viplav Kumar, DIG, awaiting orders of adjustment in PHQ has been posted as DIG Traffic, Jammu relieving Mr. Ashkoor Ahmed Wani of the additional charge of the post. Mr. Viplav Kumar shall also hold the charge of the post of I/C IGP Traffic, J&K till further orders.
