Bharatiya Kisan Sangh continued there expansionist regime by working hard and gaining new territories for them to work upon, this has been done on basic grassroots level throughout the country and the most recent being Srinagar. Bharatiya Kisan Sangh appointed Rajinder Singh as President of Srinagar. Presiding over the ceremony was Shri Leela Dhar Sangathan Mahamantri of Kisan Sangh (North India) with the blessings of National President Anna Sahib Murkute, General Secretary Organisation Dinesh Kulkarni, General Secretary Prabhakar Kelkar and were joined Senior Kisan Leader of Punjab Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal. The office bearers appointed are as follows Rajinder Singh as President,Hagi Ahmed Nago and Gurpurab Singh as Vice President, Harbinder Singh as Secretary, Sailender Singh and Kanval Singh as Joint Secretaries, Paramjeet Singh as Treasurer whereas Rashid Lon, Dharampal Singh, Sukhjinder Singh, Popinder Singh, Naseer Ahmed Mir, Mohammed Akhoon, Pradeep Singh and Bilal Ahmed Khan all were appointed as working committee members. They all recited Oath which instructed them to work for the upliftment of Farmers, society and Bharat as a Nation. Leeladhar later spoke at length with the office bearers regarding the Ideologies of Sangh and how they are expected to work for a common cause. Speaking of the problems faced by Farmers in the country Leeladhar told that Bharatiya Kisan Sangh Believes in Making the Farmer Self dependent by methods such as Crop insurance schemes, stopping the conversion of agricultural lands for other purposes, obtaining good value for the farmer crops, encouraging Organic Farming, prohibiting the use of JMP seeds and to keep National Intrest over Farmers intrest. This ceremony was attended by huge gathering of Kisan Sangh workers.
