JK officials visit petrol bomb attack victims at Safdarjung Hospital

A team of officers from the office of the Advisor to Chief Minister, Prof Amitabh Mattoo met the two victims of the Udhampur petrol bomb attack today at Safdarjung Hospital and assured them of all possible help from the State government. The victims had received burn injuries when their truck was attacked with a petrol bomb by some miscreants near Udhampur.The victims, Zahid and Showkat, are being treated at Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital. They are currently under observation in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Their condition is currently stable and they are recovering. They were brought to Delhi last evening from Jammu.The state government flew in the relatives of both the victims who reached Delhi this morning and are staying at the Jammu and Kashmir House.Meanwhile, Prof Mattoo said, he is personally monitoring the situation on the directions of the Chief Minister.
