Gul chairs House Committee Meeting

A meeting of House Committee of Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held here today under the Chairmanship of Speaker, J&K Assembly, Mubarak Gul.Detailed discussion was held on various agenda points put forth by the committee which includes up- gradation of the existing kitchen in MLA Hostel Srinagar, construction of second storey over the existing Barak within the premises of MLA Hostel, Jammu.The meeting was also discussed to arranging the budgetary provisions for providing of LEDs within the rooms of MLAs’ Hostel at Jammu and Srinagar and examine the issue of pertaining accommodations to the Members provided to them by the Estates Department, JKTDC, Custodian and Assembly Secretariat. Legislators, Mr. G.M. Saroori and Mr. Balwant Singh Mankotia also present in the meeting and gave their valuable suggestions. The meeting was attended by Director Information, Mr. Sojuaniya Sharma, Special Secretary Legislative Assembly, Mr. M.R. Singh and senior officers of the Assembly Secretariat.
