To cover 35 minimum sittings, the HP Assembly session has been extended up to Saturday: Butail

“355 Questions shall be tabled in the 6 days winter session of Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha which is starting on Monday at Dharamsala. This includes 256 stared and 99 un-stared questions, “Said BBL Butail, Speaker of the state Assembly at Dharamshala on Friday. Talking to PTI he said that to cover the 35 minimum sittings of the assembly, the session has been extended to Saturday, which otherwise treated to be a off day.Butail said ,”Thursday of the session shall be treated as the private day, for which 9 resolutions are received and 4 shall be taken up. As far as the other matters are concerned only 2 resolutions are received under rule 61, 6 under rule 130 and 2 under rule 324.” He said that he is requesting the members to work under the schedule to avoid wastage of time and to cover much agenda. He said that the accommodation for Ministers,MLAs, and staff is made available are per the suitability in and around Dharamsala SSP Kangra said that 680 police persons, excluding commandos and bomb defusing squad have been deployed for smooth conduct of law and order during the session.This is being the third session of the 12th vidhan sabha of the state. Dharmshala is hosting the winter sessons of HP Vidhan Sabha every year since 2005 and in the new building since 2006.
