Minister of State for Health and Medical Education, Asiea Naqash informed the House that old hospital building Reasi would be converted into Mother and Child Care centre as per the decision of the District Development Board (DDB).Replying to a question by Mr. Ajay Nanda, the Minister said that every effort is being made to have vacant posts in health and medical education departments filled by referring the vacancies to recruiting agencies. She said as and when the selection list is received and DPCs conducted, the vacant posts would be filled up accordingly.The Minister informed that at present 40 posts of medicos and paramedics are vacant in different hospitals of Reasi district adding that these vacancies have already been referred to concerned recruitment agencies for selection.
