Indian and New Zealand eves would vie in the Final of World Cup Kabaddi at Jalandhar on Thursday as they duo defeated Pakistan and Denmark respectively in the Semi Finals held here at Multi Purpose Sports Stadium.   In first semi final New Zealand drubbed Denmark by 44-25 points while India  trounced PakistanEducation Minister Mr. Sikander Singh Maluka, Irrigation Minister Mr. Janmeja Singh Sekhon and Member Rajya Sabha Balwinder Singh Bhunder were the chief guests of semi finals. They had interaction with the players of all teams.

It is pertinent to mention here that women teams from New Zealand and Pakistan were playing in this world cup for first time and reached to Semi finals. The Indian eves entered in the finals for third time, which defeated Pakistan women with 46-16. Indian players Sukhwinder Kaur, Priyanka and Ram Bateri secured 8-8 and 6  points respectively while in defenders Anu Rani and Khushbu secured 6 points each and Ritu got 3 points. In first semi final New Zealand defeated Denmar with 44-25.
