Govt working for upliftment of far flung, weaker section of the society: Gurezi

Minister of State for Animal & Sheep Husbandry, Nazir Ahmed Gurezi has said that the present government is working for the betterment and upliftment of the people of the far flung and weaker section of the society of the State.Addressing a series of public meetings at different places during his visit to Tehsil Gurez, Mr. Gurezi said that government during last five years has implemented the welfare schemes meant for the people of hilly areas and weaker sections on ground so as to ensure the development of these areas.He appealed the people to come forward and take benefits of welfare schemes launched by the State and Central governments.During his visit several deputations met the Minister and apprised him about their inpidual and collective problems. He directed on the spot to the Tehsil officers to ensure basic amenities to the people of Gurez so that the people of the areas would not face any difficulties during winter months.The Minister visited Budwon, Dawar and Wanpora villages. He also took stock of fire incidents which took place in Dawar village and directed the concerned for immediate measures for rehabilitation of fire sufferers.
