T20 Tournament was today concluded with the victory of Palhalan A in which Palhallan A defeted Andergam FCC in a final Match Played in SNW cricket Ground Chanderhama Pattan.The final match of Sadhbhavana Cricket Tournament comprising of ten teams of villages district Baramulla and adjoining area of Pattan Tehsil was conducted by 29 Rashtriya Rifles Army at Chanderhama Cricket ground on 30 Sep 2015. The finals of 20 overs were played between teams Palhalan 'A' and Andergam Friends Cricket Club.The chief guest on the occasion was Colonel Abhishek Tripathi, Commanding Officer, 29 Rashtriya Riflesand Lt Col rahul singh was guest of honour Journalist Salem yousuf and other dignitaries was also witnessed the match alongwith the local audience. Palhalan 'A' defeated Friends Cricket Club, Andergam by 23 runs and were adjudged the winner of the Sadhbhavana Cricket Tournament 2015 and was awarded a cash prize of Rs 15,000/- followed by Rs 10,000/- by the second team. Cash prize of 5,000/- was awarded to Mohammad Ashraf of Palhalan 'A' for being the Man of the Series and scoring over 333 runs in the tournament and Rs 3,000/- was awarded to Shoaib of Andergam team for being adjudged the Man of the Match.The Chief Guest appreciated the enthusiasm and zeal exhibited by the youth of Palhalan area by participating in this tournament. Army will always remain committed to their vision in the constructive development and grooming of the young minds of the Valley. He expressed gratitude to one and all for making this event successful.
