Bhalla release Rs. 1 crore for development of Chanapora Housing Colony

Minister for Housing and Horticulture, Raman Bhalla accompanied by MLA Amira Kadal, Nasir Aslam Wani visited Amira Kadal Constituency including Chanapora to assess the developmental needs in these areas today.The Minister during his visit to Chanapora Housing Colony announced Rs. 1 crore for renovation of lanes and drains and development of parks and gardens in the colony. He asked the Managing Director, Housing Board to take the renovation work in hand without further delay.Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the Minister said that present coalition dispensation has taken the state to new heights of development with the liberal funding of Central Government. He said that UPA government introduced scheme like MGNREGA, PMGSY, RAMSA and RSGGY in the State to usher in a golden era of development and progress. He said that score of Health, Education Institutes were established. He said that every area especially remote and far flung areas are being covered under PMGSY while many a prestigious schemes for unemployed youth were introduced in the State for which Central government is extending finance and logistics. He appealed people to co-operate with the government in maintaining peace in the state, which he said, is imperative for development.Bhalla was accompanied by Managing Director J&K Housing Board and other concerned officers.
