Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr. Pawan Kotwal today conducted whirlwind tour of Jammu city to review the status of under execution mega developmental projects.ADDC Jammu, Anuradha Gupta, Director Airport, D.K. Gautam Chief Engineer R&B, Alok Mengi, Project Liaison officer Gandola Ropeway Project, Rakesh Bhat besides senior officers of concerned departments were also present on the occasion.The Divisional Commissioner visited Gandola Ropeway Project site at Shahbad, Maha Maya where he was apprised by the Liaison Officer Gandola Ropeway Project that the work on the project is in full swing. He asked the concerned authorities to start beautification work alongside the project to attract tourists.R&B authorities were directed to construct approach road to the Gandola Ropeway so that the visitors do not face any inconvenience.Dr. Kotwal also visited Army cantonment area, Satwari and took stock of shifting of Defence utilities. He reviewed construction of alternate road connectivity to Niki Tawi via Belicharana that has been necessitated due to expansion of Airport to alternate land near Satwari.The Div Com also reviewed blacktopping at Northern Command Office Near Jeevan Nagar Nallah.
