The Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Prakash Ganga today laid foundation stone of Veterinary Sub Centre at Shah Talab in Bari Brahmana.The Sub-centre being executed under NABARD funding is estimated to cost Rs 27 lakh.The Minister directed the officers to adhere to quality parameters and ensure speedy execution of the building adding that the Government is for creating durable assets in the state.While speaking on the occasion, the minister said accelerating developmental activities with emphasis on growth of unattended and inaccessible pockets, is the core mantra of coalition government.   He also said the upcoming Sub Centre would cater to vital veterinary facilities  to the local farmers at their doorsteps.     

The Minister asked the executing agency to complete the work in shortest possible time and   handover the building to the concerned agency for making the Vet centre operational.Later the minister inspected the ongoing  up-gradation and improvement work on  Barjani to Badhori road in Bari Brahmana. He directed the officials to monitor the work closely and collect samples of construction material on regular basis to ensure use of quality material.Executive Engineer PWD(R&B) Ram Pal, other officers of the department and the residents of the area were also present on the occasion.
