28 militants killed in Pakistan

At least 28 terrorists were killed and several injured in Pakistan after fighter jets carried out strikes in different areas of Khyber Agency and North Waziristan.Four hideouts of the terrorists were destroyed during the air strikes, the Nation reported on Saturday.The jets pounded the hideouts of suspected terrorists in Khyber agency and North Waziristan on the night between Friday and Saturday.As a result, 28 terrorists were killed, many injured and four hideouts were destroyed. One key commander of the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was also killed, security officials said.During the aerial strikes, 18 terrorists were killed in Tirah Valley in Khyber Agency while 10 terrorists were killed in Shawal in North Waziristan.According to the security forces, those killed were affiliated with the banned TTP and Lashkar-e-Islam. Over 45 suspects have been killed during the last two days.
