Annual Kailash Yatra flagged off from Bhaderwah

The Chari Mubarak of historical annual 3-day  Kailash Yatra was today flagged off by MLA Bhaderwah Mr. Daleep singh Parihar from Ghatha Bhaderwah for onward journey to Kailash Kund amidst raising of religion slogans and chanting of Vedic hymns.MLC Naresh Gupta, SDM Bhaderwah Mohammad Anwar Banday, ASP Bhaderwah Amit Bhasin along with MLA Bhaderwah accompanied the yatra upto village sungli and accorded warm send off to the devotees.

The first night halt will be at Village Hayien, second at Kailash Kund and the Yatra will return back on 12th September to Bhaderwah town.Speaking on the occasion, the MLA informed the Yatris that elaborate security arrangements have been made for their safety. He further informed that fool proof arrangements have been made for drinking water facility en-route and at Kailash Kund. Sufficient fire wood has been provided by the forest department, electricity facility at Kailsh Kund has been ensured besides medical facilities have been made available at all the major stations to tackle any medical emergency.“People from all walks of life participate in the Yatra and such pilgrimages should be encouraged to strengthen communal harmony in the area”, he added.
