Calling for protest after Friday prayers against the recent court order banning sale of beef in Jammu and Kashmir, Dukhtaran-e-Milat chairperson Syedah Aasiya Andrabi Thursday said that no human or court of law can amend the rules laid down by Islam. In a statement to CNS, Andrabi appealed the clerics to throw a light on the ‘halal and haram’ during Firday congregations so that people will come to know what Islam has permitted us cannot be forbidden by any ruler. When our Prophet (PBUH), who was in direct guidance of Allah, couldn’t forbid something that has been declared Halal by Allah how can any worldly power even think of doing so” she said and added that the Muslims of Jammu Kashmir will show a tough resistance if the order is even tried to be implemented.
She appealed the masses, in general and the resistance leadership in particular, to stay against such an illogical and unjustified order and make the ‘occupiers’ and their local ‘stooges’ understand that this land, primarily, belongs to the Muslims and no ruling against the Muslim law will be tolerated. She appealed the Muslims to prefer the sacrifice of bovine animals on coming Eid-ul-Azha and give a message to those who want to forcibly modify the Islam for Muslims.Castigating PDP, in particular, and other Indian parties in the state, in general, Dukhtaran-e-Millat president said since RSS, through PDP, started ruling the state things have gone bad to worse. “The RSS brigade has started taking control of this State and they are harassing the Muslims.”She said that though such orders are painful yet they prove as a blessing in disguise because the intentions of the ‘occupiers’ get exposed. She said the resistance leadership should take a strong notice of the ban on beef and should devise a strategy beforehand. She appealed people to stage protests against the court order after Friday prayers. (CNS)
