'Pakistan Army violates ceasefire in Jammu'

The Pakistan Army on Wednesday violated the ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, an officer said on Thursday."The Pakistani Army used machineguns and automatics to target our positions in Bhimber Gali area of the LoC in Poonch district yesterday (Wednesday) evening," defence ministry spokesman Lt. Col. Manish Mehta told IANS.He said the Pakistani firing in the Jammu region started at 7.10 p.m. and lasted till 8 p.m."Our troops responded with same calibre weapons. No casualty or damage was reported on our side," he said.The Paistan Army had also violated ceasefire in the Krishna Ghati sector of the LoC in the same district on Wednesday, he added.
