Minister for Law, Justice, Parliamentary Affairs, Relief and Rehabilitation, Syed Basharat Bukhari along with Minister for Health & Medical Education and ARI & Trainings, Ch Lal Singh Wednesday chaired a meeting to discuss the legalities concerning, Food and Drug Control Organization and various other issues pertaining to Health and Medical Education Department.Advocate General J&K, Jahangir Iqbal Ganai, Commissioner Secretary Finance, Navin Kumar Choudhary, Secretary Health & Medical Education, Dr. Mandeep Bhandari, Secretary Law, Muhammad Ashraf Mir and other senior officers were also present.In the meeting extensive discussion was held with regard to legalities concerning the Food and Drug Control Organization and for better monitoring of the systems being put in place, as well as for expanding the base of licensing and streamlining it further.The Law Minister issued directions to the concerned to work out details with regard to possible amendments that could be made in the concerned Acts, so that same is placed in the State Legislature in its next session.Various concerned cases pending before different courts were also discussed in the meeting.
