Bhartiya Janta Party’s state spokesman Khalid Jehangir Monday condemned the statement of Pakistan Army Chief Gen Raheel Sharif in which he has termed Kashmir as an “unfinished agenda” of partition. In a statement to KNS, Jehangir while terming Kashmir as an integral part of India said that Pakistan should take lessons from history and stop making provocative references about Kashmir. “India is fully capable of safeguarding its territorial integrity and no other nation other than Pakistan knows it better.
So I suggest Pakistan army chief not to live in fool’s paradise viz-a-viz Kashmir and concentrate on the internal security of his country which is on verge of collapsing because of fundamentalism and extremism,’ he said. The BJP Kashmir spokesman said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have not forgotten the loot, rape and plunder of Pakistan raiders and army in 1947. “When Pakistan is not in a position to do any good for its own people, what can the country do for others? Kashmiris are knowing this reality and so can’t be fooled,” he said. (KNS)
