Schoolboy hacked to death in Bangladesh

A schoolboy was brought dead at Jessore Medical College Hospital by some unidentified men on Sunday night.The dead was identified as Rakib Raihan, 14, student of class- IX of Hazi Abu Mokarram Fazlul Bari Technical School and son of Firoj Bhandari at Taltala under Nawapara industrial town.Dr.Kazal Kanti Mollick, medical officer, Jessore Medical College Hospital told that the teen –aged boy was brought dead at the hospital by some unidentified men. ‘He was hacked to death’, the doctor added.Miraj Mossadeq, sub inspector, Kotwali police station told that the adolescent was killed by some miscreants at a field near a school at Nawdaga village under Kotwali police station. The police recovered a birth registration certificate and an identity card of the educational institute from the boy’s possessions. Reason of the killing could not be known immediately.
