The Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Showkat Aijaz Friday reviewed the pace and progress of road widening of Srinagar-Sonamarg Road at Kangan market.Representatives of Trade Union Kangan, Beopar Mandal Kangan, Public Welfare Committee Kangan, Difaye Forum Kangan, Auqaf Committee Kangan, Sarpanchs of Kangan, owners of houses and shops whose structures came under the road widening project were present in the meeting.The Deputy Commissioner asked the property holders to remove immediately their structures which come under road widening plan. He said more than Rs. 1 crore in favour of the beneficiaries has been released so far.The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, Superintendent Engineer PDD Ganderbal, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ganderbal, Executive Engineer R&B Ganderbal, Tehsildar Kangan, Assistant Executive Engineer PHE Kangan and other officers.
