To take stock of the problems of people living near LoC in village Gountrian and Shahpur, Vice Chairman Kissan Board, Daljeet Singh and Member Legislative Assembly Haveli, Shah Mohammad Tantray today held a public redressal camp at Gountrian.District Development Commissioner, Nisar Ahmed Wani, Senior Superintendent of Police, J S Johar, ACD, SE PHE, CMO, Tehsildar Haveli, AD CA&PD besides Executive Engineers of PHE, PMGSY, R&B, PDD and other district officers were also present.
During the interaction, the locals highlighted various issues for consideration of the Government including up-gradation and construction of school buildings, construction of permanent bunkers, bridge at Shahpur, ambulance for the border villages, land compensation, macadamization of rural link roads, construction of Dispensary at Shahpur, check on un-scheduled power cuts, availability of ration etc.MLA informed the locals that better road connectivity, power & water supply and other welfare issues of people living near LoC are under active consideration of the Government. He also assured that issues pertaining to construction of bridge at Shahpur and compensation against crop damage etc will be taken up on priority with the concerned.Tantray stressed on generating mass awareness about various schemes of the government and asked people to come forward and avail benefits under these schemes.
