Minister of State for Industries and Commerce, Power Development and Housing and Urban Development, Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Mir today asked the hospital managements to ensure that funds allocated for patient care are utilized properly.The Minister said this while chairing the Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting at G B Pant Hospital today.The Minister asked for specified designated spaces for feeding mothers where they can easily feed their babies.Earlier giving details about the objectives of the Samiti, the Medical Superintendent, G B Pant hospital, Dr. Shafaqat Khan said that the aim of RKS is to strengthen the existing facility for the treatment in their hospital.Apart from getting utilized for infrastructural upgradation of the hospital, the RKS funds would also be used to purchase essential items for health care needed for patient care.The Minister was also briefed about the issues like sanitation, security, drinking water in the hospital.
