Col. Nitin Tripathi, and Col. M.P.S. Maurya, Commanding Officers of 19 Garhwal and 10 Mahar, respectively, called on Governor N.N. Vohra, here at the Raj Bhavan yesterday and presented mementoes to him on behalf of their Units which were deployed on Amarnath Yatra routes of Baltal and Chandanwari, respectively during the recently concluded Shri Amarnathji Yatra-2015. Both these Battalions would now be moving to their new areas of responsibility.

The Governor lauded the valuable leadership and support to the Yatra-2015 provided by both the Commanding Officers and wished them and their officers and men a successful future.Mr. P.K. Tripathi, CEO Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB); Lt. Gen. Satish Dua, GOC Hqrs. 15 Corps; Maj. Gen Arvind Dutta, GOC Hqrs. Victor Force and Mr. Jitendra K. Singh, Addl. CEO SASB were present on the occasion.
